Catherine Hamker's Obituary
Catherine E. Hamker ( nee Taylor ),94 of North Ridgeville died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at the Northridge Health Center following a short illness. .
She was born May 13, 1912 in North Ridgeville, and had been a lifelong resident. Catherine was a member of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville and the Young at Heart Senior Group of the church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mildred Finkel of Huntington, Marie Fitz of North Canton,
Pauline Pachinger of Oberlin, and Marge Tappe of Strongsville; three sons, Paul Hamker of
Grafton, Roy Hamker of LaGrange, and Raymond Hamker of Wakeman; step-daughter, Helen Cavy of Denver, CO; two step-sons, Clarence Hamker and Harris Hamker, both of Eaton Twp; five sisters, Martha Linden of North Ridgeville, Helen Silac of North Ridgeville, Dorothy Moore of Valley City, Eleanor Hess of Grafton, and Ruth Frey, of CA; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 1982; parents, Catherine and Robert Taylor; four brothers, Edward, Robert, Lawrence, and Ralph Taylor; sister, Leonarda Rofe; and step-daughter, Lola Hamker..
Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday. Rev. Neriah G. Edwards, Pastor of Fields United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment to follow in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
Memorial donations have been suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
