Catherine Dragovich's Obituary
Catherine M. "Kay" Dragovich (nee Dannhardt), age 80, of Naples, Florida formerly of Elyria died Thursday at Hospice of Naples following a long illness.
She was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She had resided in Naples the past three years moving from Elyria where she had lived since 1972. She previously lived in North Ridgeville for 10 years.
Mrs. Dragovichhad worked at Northview IGA, in North Ridgeville. She also worked as a snack bar manager at various local stores including, G.C. Murphy's in North Ridgeville and Zayer's in Elyria from where she retired.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria, the Altar and Rosary Society and the 4th order of Secular Franciscan. She volunteered at Elyria Hospitality Home for nine years.
Her hobbies included playing cards, cross stitch, and spending fun times with all her grandchildren..
She is survived by her son, John Dragovich of Naples, Florida, two daughters, Kathleen "Kat" Peterson of Westlake and Roberta "Bobbie" Wellman of Tampa, Florida, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one brother, Francis Dannhardt of Pittsburgh.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael, one daughter, Beverly Ann Dragovich, her parents, William and Margaret Dannhardt one brother, William Dannhardt and two sister, Mary Posch and Hilda Prunte.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-8 PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville; where a Fransicain Wake service will be held at 4:30 PM. A prayer service will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home; followed by 11:00 AM Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, Pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Elyria.
