Catherine "Catie" M. Kolodony's Obituary
Catherine M. “Catie” Kolodny, age 21, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully, May 8, 2024, at UH St. John Medical Center after a short illness, surrounded by her family. She was born in Westlake and had been a resident of North Ridgeville. She was a student and member of St. Peter Church. Catie enjoyed drawing, painting, loved the outdoors, gaming, and spending time with her dog Lilo. She is survived by her parents Laura (nee Pischel) and Scott Kolodny of North Ridgeville; sister and best friend Allie Kolodny of North Ridgeville; grandparents Don and Diane Pischel of North Ridgeville, Sally Kolodny of TX; uncles Don (Jennifer) Pischel of MI, Alan (Kristin) Kolodny of TX; cousins Tyler, Corey, Kasey Pischel of MI, Nina Kolodny of TX. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Merritt Kolodny. A private celebration of her life will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024. UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to the recent storms/tornados in the greater Cleveland area, the Aviator Group is still without power. As a result, we are forced to cancel tonight’s Celebration of Life for Catie. It will be rescheduled for a later date.
