Catherine Accorti's Obituary
Catherine L. Accorti (nee Scaffa), age 77, of Rocky River died Tuesday at Fairview General Hospital, Cleveland, following a short illness.
She was born in New York City and raised in New Jersey. She had resided in Rocky River the past 3 years moving from Westlake. She had previously lived in Philadelphia, Bay Village and Vero Beach, Florida.
She worked as the Secretary to the Principal at Kensington Elementary School, Rocky River in the 1970's. She was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Bay Village. She enjoyed spending time with her family, walking and cycling.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, A. Robert, three sons Barry of Wellington, Bob of North Ridgeville and Pete of Bay Village, four grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Gendregiz of Hillsdale, NJ and one brother Francis Scaffa. She is preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Anna Scaffa. Private memorial services will be held at a later date at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
