Carrie H. Friedenstab's Obituary
Carrie H. Friedenstab (nee Ray), age 85, of Olmsted Falls, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at her home after a long illness.
She was born in Crossville, Tennessee and was a lifelong resident of Elyria.
She worked in assembly for General Motors, retiring in 1984.
Carrie enjoyed reading, cross stitching, watching Jeopardy and driving.
Survivors include her children, Catherine (Wayne) Kauffman of Irving , Texas, Darryl Friedenstab of Florida, Paula (Jim) Luccio of Olmsted Falls, grandchildren, Wayne, Katie, Nicalette, Tyler and Courtney, great-grandchildren, Noah, McKenzie, Bryson, Emma and Gracie, siblings, Dorothy “Dot”, Jean Ann, Mary “Molly”, Donna and Kevin, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darryl, parents, Alvin “Cotton” and Ella (nee Burden) Ray, sister, Patricia.
Friends and family may call Friday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 am. Pastor Chris Reutepohller will officiate.
Burial will be at Brookdale Cemtery, Elyria.
