Carolyn June Sittinger's Obituary
Carolyn June Sittinger, age 90, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home. She was born on October 28, 1932 in Lowell, Ohio and has been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. She worked in nutritional services at St. John Westshore Hospital for many years and a longtime parishioner of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Carolyn was a history buff, an avid reader, Scrabble fanatic and loved to travel, but nothing made her happier than spending time with family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored. She is survived by her children Christy Loach of Tok, AK, Jeannette Orshoski of Elyria, Sibyl (Terry) Bailey of Amherst, Shawn (Mike) Ramey of Lorain and Casey Loach of North Ridgeville; grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother of many; sister Mary Janney of Quakertown, PA; many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Harriet (nee Spies) Hamric; husband Donald Sittinger; husband and children’s father, Harold Loach; son, Mark Loach; brother, John Hamric; sisters Jean Long, Betty Jones and Lois Gibson. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Interment will be private.
