Caroline Markley's Obituary
Caroline G. Markley (nee Mahan), of North Ridgeville, died Monday, February 16, 2004 at Center Ridge Nursing Home, North Ridgeville following a long illness.
She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, She had resided in North Ridgeville the past 40 years moving from Taylorstown, PA.
She was a member of North Eaton Christian Church Disciples.
She worked as a Chief Dispatcher for the city of North Ridgeville Police Department retirng in 1988 after 24 years. She prevouisly worked as a secretary at North Ridgeville High School.
She enjoyed swiming, scuba diving, baking, reading and working cross word puzzles.
Surviving are Daughter, Janet Jobes of Claysville, PA; 3 Sons, James Markley of Lexington, SC, Donald and David Markley both of North Ridgeville; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Markley in 1987, her parents, J. Edgar and Ethel Mahan, and two infant sons.
A Memorial Service will be held 12:30 PM Friday at David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Mrs. Markley's nephew Reverend Richard Elwell will officiate.
Private burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the the charity of the donor's choice.
