Carol White's Obituary
Carol F. White ( nee Surratt ) age 62 of Elyria, passed away Thursday June 29, 2006 at her residence following a long illness.
She was born in Beckley, WV and had also lived in LaGrange until moving to Elyria in 1998. Carol was a member of the Elyria Church of God, a member of the Healing Rooms of Greater Cleveland, and enjoyed flower arranging, crafts, and professional cake decorating.
She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, James R. Sr.; two sons, James R. Jr. ( Dianne ) of Elyria and David M. of Rome, NY; two daughters, Pamela Dockery ( Michael ) of Ocala, FL and Karen Asbury ( Michael ) of Elyria; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Michael and Cecil Peters; and her sister, Agnes Pierce.
Family will receive friends Sunday July 2 from 2-6PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, and Monday from 11-11:30AM at the LaGrange Church of God, 502 North Center St., LaGrange. Funeral service will be at 11:30AM Monday at the church with Rev. Tom Cody, Pastor of the Elyria Church of God, and Rev. Winifred Walters officiating. Interment to follow at River Rd. Cemetery, LaGrange Township.
