Carol Anne Skulina's Obituary
Carol Skulina (nee Schraitle), age 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake after a recent illness. She was born on January 27, 1935 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 14 years, moving from North Olmsted. She worked as a Banking Associate for Key Bank. She was a member of the Town Club in North Olmsted, a Fairview Hospital Auxiliary Board volunteer, and a Playhouse Square Red Coat. Carol enjoyed cross stitch, reading, puzzles, bridge, golf, vacationing with family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leonard; sons Jim (Tammy) Skulina of Mentor, Russ (Robin) Skulina of Virginia; daughters Karen (Phil) Sherwood of Medina, Stacy (Mike) Gura of Bay Village; grandchildren Julie, Kelly, Jenny, Amanda, Tyler, Alex, Lauren, Marissa, and Derek. She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Pearl Schraitle. Celebration of life service, Saturday October 27, 2018 at Prince of Peace Church, 28455 Center Ridge Rd, Westlake, where family will receive friends from 10:30 am until the time of service at 11:30 am.
