Carol Sue Polak's Obituary
Carol Sue Polak (nee Wilson), age 79, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at The Woods at French Creek in Avon.
She was born in Alliance and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1974, moving from Lakewood.
Carol worked as a Congressional Case Worker for Navy Finance (DFAS), retiring in 1998 after 33 years.
She was a voracious reader, enjoyed crafts, jewelry making and ceramics, being active with St. Julie’s Primetimers group and had a love of her dogs throughout the years.
Survivors include her husband, John, brother John (Carole) Wilson of Tennessee and brother-in-law William Barns of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Roy and Louise (nee Nayor) Wilson and her sister Marion Barnes this past November.
Private burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Port Vue, Pennsylvania.
