Carol Phillips' Obituary
Carol A. Phillips (nee Walsh), age 71, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 22, 1942 in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1977. She married Burl E. Phillips on August 28, 1965 and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2013.
Carol was a homemaker and worked at Deltronix and Becker's Donuts in her later years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville. Carol was a very sentimental, kind and loving person who was a great friend to her children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting her friends at the coffee shop.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Chris) Turay of North Ridgeville, Lisa (Robert Jr.) LeBlanc Becaj, Christine (Hoyt) Mis; grandchildren, Danielle, Cassidy, Meredith, Jamison, Evan, Griffin, Matthew, Natalie; brothers, William (Willa) Walsh of Niceville, Dan (Anna) Walsh of North Olmsted, Robert Walsh of Parma; sisters, Margaret Mary "Peggy" (Leroy) Cartwright of York, South Carolina; Helen Ward of Cleveland; and many dear nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Walsh; and brothers, James, Patrick and Michael Walsh.
Friends may call Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of prayer service at 10 AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A 10:30 AM Mass will follow at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
