Carol A Peskar's Obituary
Carol A. Peskar (nee Soboslay) of Elyria, passed away Sunday March 8, at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.
She was born and grew up in Cleveland and later moved to North Ridgeville in 1969 before settling down in Elyria in 1986.
Carol worked for many years as a dental assistant for Dr. McNeeley and Dr. Shuba in Elyria.
She attended Holy Name High School in Cleveland. Carol spent over 13 years involved in the Lorain County 4H. She loved Arabian horses and attending horse shows and barrel races. In her free time Carol enjoyed all types of crafts, from floral arrangements and wreaths to making bird houses. Carol had the highest regard and respect for the Amish and their community. Most important of all, was how much she cherished every moment with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Peskar of Elyria; sons, Kevin L. (Claudia) Peskar of Kissimmee, FL and Kieth J. (Susan) Peskar of Grafton; daughter, Denise (Amy Kelly) Peskar of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Korey, Kameron and Ian Peskar; sisters, Jean Gusky, Noreen Sorna and Cheryl Kukla; brother, Gerard Soboslay.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Ray and Ann (nee Kravisin) Soboslay; son, Kyle Peskar in 1994 and sister, Patricia Romanchok.
Friends may call Thursday March 12, 2015 from 4PM until time of service at 7PM in Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
