We never had the pleasure of meeting Carol, but from what we've heard, she was a wonderful and loving woman and mother. I never had the luck to meet Carol. I know Debbie. She always spoke with love about her mother. I know her mother will be greatly missed, by many (as well by Debbie). I pray God be with all of you at this time. Peace be with Carol.

When I was very young my mother would always sing Irish lullabys to me at bed time. I had completely forgotten about these songs until just about a year ago upon hearing them again. It was a truly stunning and bittersweet memory flasback and compounded so knowing that my mother who had so cared for me was at the end of life struck down with cancer. I was such a rebelious young man but my mother was a forgiving mom even when I was sometimes not.

Carol was a great lady and I am so glad over the years I had the pleasure of knowing her. She was always happy and always had a beautiful smile. I will always remember her with a good book because everytime I saw her there was a book within reaching distance. She will be missed dearly.
