Carol Machovina's Obituary
Carol Machovina (nee Messenger) age 80, of Wellington, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Mercy New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain.
She was born in Athens and had been a resident of Wellington for the past 2 years moving from North Ridgeville, where she lived for most of her life.
Carol loved animals and nature and enjoyed bird watching, going to the lake and watching old movies.
In the last year, she especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Abigail.
Survivors include her son, Royce Parsons of Jacksonville, Florida, daughter, Becky (Bobby) Delia of Cleveland, step-children, Sherry Bally, Darlene Chapman, Larry, John and Tim Machovina, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters, Janice (John) Stanfield of North Ridgeville, Linda Sees and Sheila Haun both of Wellington.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Parsons, 2nd husband, Jack Machovina, sons, Alan and Joe Parsons, parents, Porter and Eunice (nee Whitesel) Messenger.
Private graveside services will be held at Ridgeville Cemetery.
