Carol A. Knecht's Obituary
Carol A. Knecht, age 75 of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2002, formerly of Fairview Park. In retirement, she owned and operated Knecht and Assoc Inc., which was a computer consulting company. Carol was a member of St. Peter Church where she volunteered with the RCIA program. She was a former member of St. Angela Merici where she was involved with the Evangication Committee. She is survived by her sister Coletta Knecht of Lyndhurst, brother Richard J.( Antoinette, deceased) of Sylvania; longtime friend Barbara Rover of Fairview Park; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Charlotte Knecht; brothers Robert and Albert Knecht; sister Geraldine Schneeberger. Respecting social distancing and the wearing of masks, family will receive friends Monday, August 31, 2020 at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, from 10:30 – 11:30 am, when a prayer service will be held. Memorial mass will follow at 12pm at St. Peter Church. Rev. Joe Robinson will officiate. Private burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon at a later date.
