Carol Henson's Obituary
Carol A. Henson (nee Minarik), age 69, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Aristocrat Berea Nursing Home, following a long illness.
Born in Lakewood, she was a resident of North Ridgeville for over 40 years moving from Cleveland.
Carol was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in North Olmsted and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Elyria.
She enjoyed collecting ceramic kittens.
Survivors include her daughter, Terrie Gilland of North Ridgeville and grandson, Alex Gilland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth A. Henson; sister, Barbara J. Freyer, father, Edward J. Minarik; mother, Mae E. Leonard and step-father, Walter “Pop” Leonard.
Friends may call Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of services at 2:00 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Roger Stuenkel, Pastor of Ascension Lutheran Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
