Carol Greenland's Obituary
Carol Sue Greenland (nee Venturella), age 59, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria, following sudden illness.
She was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 21 years moving from Cleveland.
Ms. Greenland worked as a hair stylist for the JC Penny Department Store in North Olmsted for the past 5 and a half years.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville.
She taught PSR classes at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Avon and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine Shaw of Lakewood; sons, Michael and Joseph both of North Ridgeville; 5 grandchildren; father, Vincent Venturella of Cleveland; sisters Karen Brauer of Cleveland and Diane Capp of North Olmsted.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Greenland in 1976 and mother, Clara Venturella in 2005.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where prayer services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30AM followed by a 10:00AM Mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Dr. Richard A. Gonser will be the celebrant.
Private burial will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery.
