Carol E. Gilgenbach's Obituary
Carol E. Gilgenbach, age 68, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, at her home. She was born in Lakewood and had been a lifelong resident of Elyria. She worked as a Computer Analyst for Moen before retiring in 2018. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Elyria Elks Club. Carol was very creative and enjoyed sewing, embroidery, gardening and loved dogs. She is survived by her companion Tim Barnes of Elyria; sister Joyce Smith of GA; nieces Ann Marie (Denny) Rice of Mass, Margaret Smith of GA. She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Frances Gilgenbach; sister Penny Milbrandt; and brother John Gilgenbach on September 14, 2021. Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 at St. Peter Cemetery. Rev. Joe Robinson will officiate.
