Carlie L Stein's Obituary
Carlie Stein, age 69 of Elyria, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026. She was born on October 10, 1956 in Fountain Valley, CA and has been a resident of Elyria for the last year and a half.
Although she fulfilled a few different postions over her career such as a pharacutical assistant, and insurance adjustor, her most cherished role was that of being a homemaker.
Carlie had a passion for nature - specifically waterfalls and sunsets. She also had a passion for her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she was a devoted wife to her husband Michael for 46 years. In addition, she also loved the beach…even if it was on Lake Erie. Carlie loved to travel – whether it was a long trip over an extended period of time, or even just a short day trip with a family member or friend.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; her children Ryan Stein (Chrissy) and Kari Giles (Jared); grandchildren Alexis Benjamin (Devon), Zion Casenhiser, Chance Casenhiser, Tristan Boyer, and Bryson Giles; and great grandson Deacon Benjamin. Carlie is preceded in death by her parents William and Geraldine Dehoff and her brother Tim Dehoff.
