Carl F Linden's Obituary
Carl F. Linden, age 86, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at O’Neill Healthcare Center in North Ridgeville.
He was born in Elyria and had spent most of his life in North Ridgeville.
He worked as a truck driver for Parker Transfer in Elyria for over 25 years before retiring in 1982.
Carl was a member of St. Peter Church, where he was a past usher.
He was also a member of Teamsters Union Local 571, Loyal Order of the Moose and Eagles Club in Elyria.
He enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing at Clar-mar Lakes and Terrace Lakes in Sullivan.
Survivors include his daughters, Shirley Moore of North Ridgeville, Joyce (Wayne) Hayes of Elyria; sons, Mark (Fran) Linden of Greensboro, South Carolina, Allan (Laurie) Linden of North Ridgeville, Matthew (Betty) Linden of Grafton, Eric Linden of Olmsted Falls; daughter-in-laws Sally Linden of Sheffield Lake and Norma Linden of North Ridgeville, 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Chris (Grace) Linden of North Ridgeville, Jack (Carol) Linden of California.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy in 1987; sons, Dave, Dale and Peter Linden; son-in-law Rick Moore, great-grandson, Matthew Linden; parents, Chris and Catherine Linden; brothers, Ed, Don and Bob Linden.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30AM in the funeral home followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Peter Church. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
