Carl H Gullens' Obituary
Carl H. Gullens, age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He was born in Roxbury, Massachusetts and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past ten and a half years.
Carl served in the US Army from 1947-1957.
He worked as a supervisor of street lighting for the city of Boston for almost 50 years, retiring in 2000. .
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Patricia (nee Skrabut); sons, Kenneth Gullens of Taunton, MA, Kurt Gullens of Waco, TX, Michael Gullens of Taunton, MA; daughters, Kimberly Ann McLaughlin of North Ridgeville, Theresa Bromley of Norton, MA and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Gullens; grandson, Mitchell; brother, Arthur Gullens; sister, Arlene Gullens and parents, Arthur and Frances (nee Bartolls) Gullens.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 3-7 PM at Sherman-Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield, MA. Private burial will take place in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Norwood, MA.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.
