Carl R Chadwick's Obituary
Carl R. Chadwick, age 77, died Tuesday February 4, 2014 at St. John’s Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born April 12, 1936 in Glen Rogers, WV and had been a resident of Detroit, MI before moving to North Ridgeville in 1987.
Carl worked for GM at the in Hamtramck, Cadillac Plant for 34 years where he was a union steward and was a member of the Sunlight Masonic Lodge #600 in Allen Park, MI, where he was a Worshipful Master.
Carl enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing.
Survivors include his sisters, Edith (Harold) Lovell of LaGrange, and Julie Ann (Mark) Samples of Lewisberg, WV; brothers, James F. Chadwick of Belle, WV, Eddie L. (Marge) Chadwick of Fairfield Glade, TN, and Ricky (Vicki) Chadwick of Longs, SC; stepmother, Betty J. Hughes of Longs, SC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edd L. and Eva Lucille (nee Rister) Chadwick; brothers, Charles E. Chadwick and Robert E. Lee Chadwick; and sister, Vickie Lynn Chadwick.
Friends may call Thursday from 4PM to 7PM in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where The Elyria Masonic Lodge #787 F&AM will conduct Masonic Services at 6:30PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Charles Keesee officiating.
