Bryan Ray "B.A." Allen's Obituary
Bryan Ray Allen “B.A.”, age 39, of Lakewood, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Metrohealth Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born on August 12, 1976 in Elyria and has been a resident of Lakewood for the past 10 years, moving from Cleveland. He worked as a machinist for T.R.W. for many years.
Bryan was very artistic, and wrote a lot of his own poetry. In his youth, he played baseball in the Hot Stove League, pitching his team to a state championship. His love of baseball carried on, and he was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
He is survived by his mother Judy (Nathan Mollohan) Allen of North Ridgeville; father Gary Allen of Harrisonburg, VA; brothers Chad (Emma) Allen and Kyle (Kayleigh) Allen, both of Columbus; sister Renee (Eric) Kishbaugh of Columbus; niece Ramona Kishbaugh; nephew Desmond Kishbaugh; grandmothers Polly Houston of Wytheville, VA and Margaret Allen of Harrisonburg, VA; many aunts, uncles and cousins; his beloved dog Etosha.
Bryan was preceded in death by his namesake grandfathers, Bryan Allen and Ray Kiracofe.
Funeral Services Sunday, October 18 at 1:30 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be private.
