Bruce Viergutz's Obituary
Bruce J. Viergutz, 55 of North Ridgeville passed away Tuesday September 12, 2006 at the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness.
Born in Lakewood, he had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 32 years. Mr. Viergutz was employed as an electrical technician with NASA for thirty-one years, retiring in March of this year. He was a Veteran of the Air Force, a member of the Eagles Club in Medina, and the Elyria Moose Lodge. Bruce also coached baseball for the North Ridgeville Hot Stove League and the Cuyahoga Valley Baseball Association for fourteen years. He enjoyed building houses as well as other carpentry work, playing cards, and was an avid golfer.
Mr. Viergutz is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Charlotte A. ( nee Von Seggern ); son, Eric of North Ridgeville; father and step-mother, Walter G. and Anne Viergutz of North Olmsted; brother, Brian J. Viergutz of Brooklyn, OH; and sister, Karen M. Hull ( Charles ) of Parma.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia M.
Family will receive friends Sunday September 17 from 1-5 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM Monday. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorial donations suggested to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O.
