Mr. Bruce A Sattler's Obituary
Bruce A. Sattler, age 74, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of honor, service, and leadership.
Bruce was born on March 10, 1952 in Berea, Ohio and has been a resident of northeast Ohio all his life. Bruce was a self-employed semi tractor-trailer driver before finishing his career with USF Holland where he retired in 2016.
He had an insatiable love for being out on the open waters in his boat and was named the Commander of the Greater Cleveland Boating Association in 2019. He was also highly involved in the Inter Lake Yachting Association where he served as Treasurer and Fleet Captain and was named Yachtsman of the year in 2020. He also truly appreciated trains. Bruce was known for his love of socializing with his friends.
Bruce is survived by his wife Pamela, daughter Lori Foster (Pam), sons Ron Sattler and Dan Sattler (Dianne); he leaves behind 9 grandchildren and his sister Cheryl Cristino (Dominic) and Susan Pyle (Dick). He is preceded in death by his parents Willis and Bettie Sattler and sister Donna Buy.
Friends may call at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36225 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, on Saturday, May 23, from 1-3 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in the memory of Bruce Sattler to the Alzheimer’s Association.
