Bruce A. Jasen's Obituary
Bruce A. Jasen, age 66, of Grafton, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at his home in Grafton surrounded by family. He was born on February 22,1956 in Cleveland and has been a resident of Grafton for the past 14 years, moving from Westlake where he and his family had spent the previous 30 years. Bruce was the owner of J & C Industries, a machine and fabricating shop based in Cleveland. He operated the shop for 37 years, retiring in 2015.
Bruce enjoyed fishing, target shooting, biking, listening to music, and spending time with his family. He loved classic cars, and taking long drives in his Corvette. He was very handy, enjoying the challenge of fixing things around the house. His passion for gardening kept him busy through his days of retirement.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan (nee Dieringer); daughter Melissa (Mike) Scaletta of Avon; son Mark of Erie, PA; grandchildren Joey and Luciana; brothers Dave Jasen and Donald (Lisa) Jasensky; brother Robert Jasensky (deceased) and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Jane Jasensky (nee Bolek); .
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2022 beginning at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Memorial Service at 12:00pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Celebration of Life following the service at Annika's/Oscar's Barn, 36709 Royalton Road, Grafton, Ohio from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Interment will be private.
