Bromley L Harrod's Obituary
Bromley L. Harrod (nee Rhoades), age 69, of Grafton, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Marymount Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Akron and had been a resident of Grafton since 1984.
She received her Diploma in Nursing from St. Thomas School of Nursing in 1969.
Bromley worked as a registered nurse for over 45 years, dedicating the last 25 years of her care to veterans. Bromley was a compassionate, dedicated, caring nurse to all veterans at the Louis Stokes Cleveland OAMC. Bromley was a recipient of the Federal Wings of Excellence award.
She enjoyed reading and traveling, especially to the Outer Banks with her husband.
Survivors include her mother, Jean Rhoades of Akron; brother-in-law, Michael (Bobbie) Harrod of Broadview Hts., sister-in-law, Mary Beth Harrod of Kankakee, Illinois, brother-in-law, James (Barb) Harrod of Orland Park, Illinois, sister-in-law, Maggie Morgan of Houston, Texas; close friends, Beth Noelker, Barb Budziak, Faye Milburn, Bev Ricks and Terri Ersch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in 2015; and father, Ivan in 1969.
Friends may call Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 9:30 am until the time of Memorial Service at 10:30 am at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
Inurnment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
