Bridget Keffer's Obituary
Bridget K. Keffer (nee Curran), age 64, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday at Fairview Hospital, following a long battle with cancer.
Born in Elyria, she was a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. The past 11 years she spent her winters in Mission, Texas.
She delivered for UPS in Elyria for 8 years.
Mrs. Keffer attended Christ Chapel in North Ridgeville and was a member of 1st Methodist Church of Mission, Texas. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and communicating with her friends on her computer. She enjoyed volunteering at several places including the Cleveland Clinic Moll Cancer Center, Cancer Center in McAllen, Texas, Food Bank in Mission, Texas and was chairperson of the Citrus Parade in Mission, Texas in 2005.
Survivors include her husband Robert; daughter, Margaret E. Wurst of Amherst; sons, Charles A. Nagel and Brian E. Nagel both of Elyria; stepson, Rick Keffer of Fairview Park; five grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Sigsworth of North Ridgeville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Curran; brothers, Alfred Ritsko and James P. Curran Jr.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00AM at Christ Chapel, 36300 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Norman Valentine and Rev. Dean Cinquemani will co-officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
