Brian Holod D.O.'s Obituary
Brian David Holod, D.O., age 34, of North Ridgeville, died suddenly on January 1, 2006 at his home.
Brian was born in McKees Rocks, PA and had lived in North Ridgeville since 1979; having moved from Middletown, NY
Brian graduated from Lorain County Community College, Cleveland State University and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Ohio University College of Medicine in 2004.
Before attending medical school he worked in the Dialysis Department at St. John West Shore Hospital. Brian completed his internship at St. John West Shore Hospital and was performing his duties as a residency physician there. Brian's gentle, kind and compassionate ways suited his choice of profession perfectly.
He was a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville.
Brian enjoyed sports and his motorcycles, and loved his dogs and all his friends. He was also an avid Penn State fan.
Brian is survived by his parents, David and Joyce Holod ( nee Sabat ); sisters, Sandee and Sherrie; brother Mark; niece, Jordyn Brianne Holod; paternal grandmother, Betty ( Holod ) Lesh; aunt, Gloria Sabat; and uncles, Lee Sabat and Robert Holod. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ann and Leo Sabat; and paternal grandfathers, Walter Holod and George Lesh.
Friends will be received at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville from 1-4 and 5-9 PM Wednesday and Thursday, where prayer services will take place on Friday morning at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass will be at 10AM Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville with Rev. Stephen Kaminski officiating. Interment will be private.
