Brenda Ann Uebbing's Obituary
Brenda Ann Uebbing (nee Thibodaux), age 64, of Grafton, went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2017.
She was born on December 6, 1952 in Houma, Louisiana and has been a resident of Grafton for the past 33 years. Brenda retired from Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) in 2011 after 30 years of service.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, gambling at casinos and doing crafts. She loved working in her garden, ancestry and playing with her grandchildren. Brenda was known for her beautiful heart and always putting others first. She always made sure everyone’s bellies were full with her great cooking.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 36 years, Thomas Uebbing; daughters Genesia (fiancé Eric Deyarmin) Uebbing and Cassie Uebbing, both of Grafton; grandchildren Cassie, Haylee, Kinsley and Carter; brothers Horace and Raymond Thibodaux of LA; sister Catherine Chauvin of LA.
She was preceded in death by her son Joel Uebbing; parents Pierre and Adele (nee Theriot) Thibodaux; nephew Jason Uebbing.
Funeral Services on Sunday, July 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of service. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Eaton Township EMS crew and the doctors, nurses and employees of the University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
