Bonnie Lynn Korcsmar's Obituary
Bonnie Lynn Korcsmar (nee Duerk), age 74, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Mercy Health-Allen Hospital in Oberlin.
She was born on May 15, 1947 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1989, moving from Lakewood.
She was a graduate of the Mansfield General School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at Lakewood Hospital from 1968 to 1994. She also volunteered with Voices for Children for many years.
Bonnie enjoyed traveling in her RV, going on cruises with her family and sewing. More than anything, Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Heather (Sanford) Atkins of Mentor on the Lake; sons Shawn (Brandy) Kinas of Wellington and Brandon (Pamela) Kinas of Ashburn, VA; grandchildren Shelby, Brenna, Landon and Hannah; sister Debra (John) Luckey of Findley; brother Ronald Duerk of Lakewood.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Andrew; parents Edwin and Lois (nee Lewis) Duerk; brother Robert Duerk of Findley.
Friends may call Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a 12:00 p.m. Memorial Service in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Rev. Robert Plain will officiate. Inurnment will be private.
