Billy B. Grizzell's Obituary
Billy B. Grizzell, age 83, of New London, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home. He was born September 24, 1936 in Ragland, AL and had been a resident of New London since 2002 moving from Elyria. He was an arc welder at York International for 25 years before retiring in 2001. Billy enjoyed cooking, woodworking, fishing, puzzles, trains, watching westerns and spending time with his dog Skynard Ellison. He is survived by his sons Willie of Cleveland, Danny Lee of Lorain; daughters Brenda Gail (Blaine) Beaty of Lorain, Kathy Moore of Cleveland; step-sons Gary (Crystal) Pelfrey of North Ridgeville, Bo Bo (Donna) Pelfrey of Elyria, Jeff Pelfrey of Elyria, Phillip Pelfrey (Jennifer) of Elyria; step-daughters Kathy (Freeman) Key of New London, Kimberly (Ron) Ellison of New London; daughter by choice Tammy Hale; brother Richard Grizzell of Ragland, AL; sister Ruby Neel Grizzell of Ragland, AL.; 42 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Loretta in 2016; parents Edward and Virginia; brother Johnny; sister Faye Irvin. Respecting social distancing and the wearing of masks, family will receive friends Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. Service Thursday at 11am in the funeral home. Chaplain Dan Clouse will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
