Billie Hall's Obituary
Billie L. Hall age 72 of Columbia Station passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born May 21, 1936 in Rivesville, WV and has been a resident of Columbia Station for the past 42 years. He retired from General Motors in 1992. After retirement, he was employed part time by Greentree Landscaping where he worked repairing their equipment. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran where he served as a jet mechanic. Billie was an authentic "do-it-yourselfer" who enjoyed working on cars and small engines and he could fix anything. Billie loved the outdoors and animals and he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid deer hunter both with gun and bow. He enjoyed annual fishing trips to Canada. He and his wife enjoyed travel and they spent their winters either in Arizona or Florida. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Erma (nee Cook), daughters, Linda (Scott) Baehr of Olmsted Twp., Debbie Anderson of Brooklyn, OH and Lara (Tony) Monyak of Carlisle Twp., grandsons, Nikolas, Clayton, Ian and Zachary and granddaughters, Paige and Kelsey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Goldie and Lawrence Hall, a former son-in-law, Ken Anderson, a brother, James Hall and a sister, Delores Stoller. Friends may call from 5-7 P.M. Friday, November 28, 2008 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday. Friends may also call one hour prior to service time. Pastor Brian Kenyon will officiate.
