Bill Hill's Obituary
Bill J. Hill, age 67, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, following a long illness.
He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1978 moving from Sheffield Lake.
Bill served in the US Marines.
He worked as an operations manager for Kings Express, retiring in 2013.
He attended Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church.
During his free time, he enjoyed golfing, racing at Norwalk Raceway Park, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Hill (Roger Karnatz) of Elyria; son, Marcus Hill of Elyria; grandchildren, Ryan and Cassandra Wells and Taylor Hill and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hill in 2007; parents, Otha and Thelma Hill.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Westlake, located on Center Ridge Road just East of Stearns Rd. (Please meet at the cemetery.) Rev. Darrell Myers will officiate. North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 will conduct full military honors.
