Betty Jane Wise's Obituary
Betty Jane Wise (nee Rakoski), age 90, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday June 30, 2020 at Main Street Care Center, Avon Lake.
She was born in Richeyville, PA. she had resided in North Ridgeville the past 47 years after moving from Cleveland.
Betty enjoyed gardening, watching the neighbor’s children and making crafts such as stained glass and painting.
Surviving are her two sons, Okey C. (Susan) Wise of Akron, Vone Martin "Marty" (Dodie) Wise Sr. of Parma, grandchildren, Okey Wise III, Kelly and Wendy Wise, Vone Martin Wise Jr. of whom she raised, Michael Wise, Stacey Wise, great-grandchildren Grace and Henry Roman, Zachary and Ashley Wise, Faith and Makayla Kidney, Kaden Moravcik, Henry and Wyatt Buzek, brother, John Kline and sister, Becky Rutan both of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Okey C. Wise in 2013 and her parents, John Joseph and Jenny Rakoski, brothers George and John Lawrence Rakoski.
Friends may call Tuesday from 10 AM until time of memorial service at 11 AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Danny Parsons will officiate. Due to COVID 19 pandemic, social distancing and face covering are required, if you do not have a mask, we will gladly provide one for you. Service will be live streamed on Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page.
Private interment will be in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
