Betty Wells' Obituary
Betty J. Wells (nee Coffelt), age 79 of North Ridgeville passed away suddenly at her residence Tuesday September 1, 2009.
Mrs. Wells had been a North Ridgeville resident since 1998, moving from Findlay, OH where she had lived for thirty-three years. She was a member of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville. Other memberships included the Hancock County Naturalist Club and the Hancock Handlebar Club. In addition to bicycling and bird watching, she enjoyed traveling, reading, square dancing, going to the fitness center and participating in church activities.
Surviving is her son, Thomas (Sharron) Wells, of Kenton, OH; granddaughter, Amy (Mike) Kovalsky; great-grandsons, Aidan and Nathan Kovalsky, all of North Ridgeville and sister, Jeanne Lohr, of Westlake.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Donald; parents, Chauncey Monroe and Mary Margaret Coffelt (nee Linehan); six brothers and two sisters.
Family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Jeff Sweitzer will officiate.
Burial to follow in Lakewood Park Cemetery, Rocky River.
