Betty Laverne Truxall's Obituary
Betty Laverne Truxall, age 100, of Grafton passed away peacefully at her home. She was born in Cleveland to Georgia (nee Flenniken) and Wilbert Truxall and was a resident of North Ridgeville for over 60 years.
Betty worked as a billing clerk for Allen Hospital, before retiring in 1991. She also volunteered as a Salvation Army Minister throughout her life.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading and attending Nazarene Church in North Ridgeville.
Betty is survived by niece April Zaletel, great-niece Penny Miller, great-nephews Michael Moore and Jesse Zaletel, and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents Georgia and Wilbert Truxall, sister Hazel Chappell, brother Wilbert, infant brother Jimmy and James, half sister Madeline Goodchild, and nephew John Moore.
There will be a visitation on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 12-noon, until the service begins and 1pm. Rev. Jason Truxall will officiate. Internment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
