Betty J Runyon's Obituary
Betty J. Runyon (nee Manning), age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake.
She was born in Bolt, West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1966 moving from Cleveland.
She worked as a custodian for the North Ridgeville City Schools for several years before retiring in 1991.
Betty was a member of North Eaton Christian Unity Church.
During her free time, she enjoyed quilting and cooking for her family.
Survivors include her sons, Bobby of Ashland, Rickie (Lynn) of Brunswick, Jeffrey of Pittsfield, Timothy (Karen) of Charlotte, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Russell Manning of Mississippi; sister, Lucy Athey of Lester, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Runyon in 2009; daughter, Carol Jean Runyon; parents, Gus and Bessie Manning; brothers, Robert, Bee, Dale, Ralph, Wincel, Clinton, Jack and Clifford Manning; sisters, Edith Hopkins, Zella Maller, Pearl Covey, Susie Gunnoe and twin sister Bonnie Acord.
Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Neal Brock will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
