Betty Paloney's Obituary
Betty Paloney (nee Forgas), age 82, of Columbia Station, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain, following an extended illness.
Born in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Columbia Station since the mid 1950's.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Columbia Station.
Betty enjoyed flower gardening, big band music and she was an avid Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavs fan.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth (Roy) Miller of Elyria, sons, Paul (Priscilla) Paloney of Columbia Station, David Paloney of Wellington and Jeffrey Paloney of Columbia Station, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer J. Paloney in 2009, her parents, Michael and Elizabeth Ann (nee Bednar) Paloney, brothers, John, Val and Mike Forgas and sisters, Cecelia Zelenka, Mary Czyz and Margaret McNeil.
Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville and on Friday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of her funeral mass at 10 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 25801 Royalton Road, Columbia Station. Reverend Charles Ryba, pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Royalton Road Cemetery, Columbia Station.
