Betty Mastalski's Obituary
Betty A. Mastalski (nee Gilles), age 71 of Winterhaven, FL; formerly of North Ridgeville died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at EMH Regional Medical Center following short illness.
She was born June 24, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Elyira.. She had resided in Winterhaven, Florida the past 9 years having moved from North Ridgeville where she had lived for 30 years.
Mrs. Mastalski received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Lorain County Community College and had worked as a bookkeeper for Fortney and Weygandt Inc. In North Olmsted for 14 years retiring in 1997.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville.
Mrs. Mastalski enjoyed reading, playing cards, flower gardening and traveling.
Surviving are her son, Lawrence Mastalski Jr. of Houston, Texas; 2 daughters, Jean Mastalski of Stow and Lori Jordon of Brunswick, six grandchildren; sister, Jean Gilles of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. in 2003, parents, Oscar and Eleanor Gilles and brothers, Donald and Jack Gilles.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held Friday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home; followed by10:00 AM Mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Entombment will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
