Betty A. Lingruen's Obituary
Betty A. Lingruen (nee Southack), age 90, of Washington Courthouse, passed away at her daughter’s home on February 14, 2019 after a lengthy illness.
She was born on September 10, 1928 in Lakewood and had lived most her life in North Ridgeville, before moving to Florida and Washington Courthouse. She worked as a custodian at the Wilcox School in North Ridgeville, retiring in 2000 after 25 years.
Betty’s greatest joy in life was found in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth (Helen) Lingruen of North Ridgeville and Roy Lingruen of Florida; daughters Lynn Deskins of Washington Courthouse and Sandra (Jim) McMillan of Florida; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Roy G. Lingruen; granddaughter Jacquelyn Kerns; parents Russel and Helen (nee Dundas) Southack.
Funeral Service Tuesday, February 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Carl Ethridge will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 1375 E 9th St #600, Cleveland, OH 44114.
