Betty Hess Intorcio's Obituary
Betty Hess Intorcio (nee White), age 89, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at O’Neill Heathcare in North Ridgeville after a lengthy illness.
She was born on February 25, 1929 in Akron and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past year, moving from the Village of the Falls in Olmsted Falls.
She and her late husband Walter were the owners of Hesses Gifts in Brooklyn, Ohio for many years.
Betty was an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting, with her favorite subject being the trees she found in nature. She was also an animal lover, having many dogs and cats throughout her life.
She is survived by her “adopted daughter” Gail Smith.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Walter Hess and second husband Vince Intorcio.
Visitation Friday 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Inurnment will be on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Lakeview Cemetery, Cleveland. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Cleveland APL, 1729 Wiley Ave., Cleveland 44113.
