Betty Jane Hrehocik's Obituary
Betty Jane Hrehocik (nee Peters), age 92, of Sagamore Hills, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Sagamore Hills Estates Nursing Home.
She was born on May 19, 1929 in Cleveland and has been a resident of Sagamore Hills for the past 3 years, moving from Elyria, Port Richey, Florida and North Royalton. She was a parishioner at St. Agnes Church in Elyria and past parishioner at St. Albert the Great in North Royalton. Betty worked as a bank teller at Union Commerce Bank in Parma for several years.
Betty enjoyed working in ceramics, and was an avid bowler, which was where she met her loving companion Joseph Kordek, with whom she loved to travel and spend time with.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Hrehocik of Broadview Heights, companion Joseph Kordek of Elyria.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Stephen J. Hrehocik; parents Sadie and Charles Peters; brother Ralph Peters.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Betty’s name to Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation, 10810 E. 45th Street, Suite 300, Tulsa, OK 74146 or to a charity of your choice.
Private Services for Betty were held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
