Betty Lou Hopkins' Obituary
Betty L. Hopkins (nee Jarvis), age 88, of North Ridgeville, passed away on March 16, 2017 at O’Neill Healthcare.
She was a lifelong resident of Elyria until moving to North Ridgeville two years ago.
Betty graduated from Elyria High School in 1946 and was a member of St. Peter Church. She enjoyed camping and spending time with family.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (John) Schandorsky of Amherst; sons, Thomas (Judy) of Grafton, and James (Dee) of Grafton; grandchildren, Tim (Allyse) Hopkins, Tracey Hopkins (fiancé, Zach Heisler), Michele Devoe, Michael (Lisa) Hopkins, Andrea (Jason) Richardson, Nathan (Valerie) Hopkins, Kevin (Julia) Hopkins, Brian Schandorsky, and Christine (Greg) Anderson; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Glenn; and her parents, Harry and Burree (nee Westley) Jarvis.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 6 PM in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home. Rev. Andrew Hoover will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
