Betty Grimmett's Obituary
Betty Jean Grimmett (nee Foreman), age 79, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday June 6, 2011 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph following a long illness.
Born in McAlpin, WV, she had resided in Elyria the past 60 years.
Mrs. Grimmett enjoyed reading her bible, sewing and watching the many children she babysat over the years.
She was a former member of Stoney Ridge Baptist Church, North Ridgeville.
Surviving are her daughters, Debbie (Steve) Sobotka, Donna Grimmett, all of Elyria, 6 grandchildren, David Eddie, Stephanie and Jeremy Sobotka, Renee, Phillip and Jason Adkins, 14 great grandchildren, sister, Shirley Roels of N. Carolina, brothers George Foreman of West Virginia and Butch Foreman of Arizona.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Albert Lee, daughter, Darlene Francess Baldwin, sisters, June Pearson, Goldie Hill and Lena Clay, and brother Buddy Foreman.
Private interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
Arrangements are under the direction of David Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.
