Betrena Mancuso's Obituary
Betrena M. Mancuso (nee Zuppero), age 94, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at her home, following a long illness.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois and had been a resident of Elyria since 1974, moving from North Ridgeville.
Betrena was a member of St. Mary's Church in Elyria and enjoyed playing Bingo, dancing and sewing.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Jo Vasi and Pauline Eskins both of Elyria, Joann Beck of Montville, Australia, Patricia "Jacque" Robinette of Lorain; 51 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Mancuso in 1983; infant son, Joseph Mancuso, son, Joseph R. Mancuso in 2005; brothers, Sam, Joseph and Tony Zuppero.
Friends may call Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Thursday at 9:15 AM followed a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 320 Middle Ave., Elyria. Fr. Charles T. Diedrick, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
