Bethelene "Beth" Setser's Obituary
Audera Bethelene “Beth” Setser (nee Cook), age 88, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at Keystone Point in LaGrange.
She was born in Glen Daniel, West Virginia and moved to Ohio with her husband and resided in the Parma and Grafton areas since 1955. They became full time residents of Keystone Pointe in LaGrange in June 2012.
Beth was employed for approximately 38 years at American National Can in Cleveland. She retired in 1990.
She graduated from the American Beauty College in Cleveland and worked as a hairstylist in her home for many years.
She was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Temple of North Ridgeville for many years. Beth publicly confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior on April 10, 1960 and was baptized on that same day.
She was a dear friend to so many and mom to her beloved Schitzu, Cody.
She is survived by the love of her life, James (Jimmy) Lawton Sester, whom she married 71 ½ years ago on May 30, 1942, at the tender age of 16 in Pine Knob, WV. What a love story they could tell. She is also survived by her sister, Martha Lou (Charles) Brown of Glen Daniel, WV and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rusco and Myrtle (nee Webb) Cook and sister, Yvonne Maxine Martin.
Friends may call Monday from 9 AM until the time of services at 11 AM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
Burial in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
