Bernice Ann "Bernie" Reese's Obituary
Bernice “Bernie” Ann Reese, age 84, of North Ridgeville, passed away unexpectedly at UH St. John Medical Center in Westlake on Friday, May 29, 2026. Born in Cleveland to the late William and Bessie (nee Haurin) Drahas, Bernie graduated from Olmsted Falls High School and later married her high school sweetheart, the late Frank J. Reese. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker. Bernie enjoyed a variety of interests, including sewing, crocheting, crafting, puzzles, bird watching, and art. She was also an avid collector. Bernie cherished the time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Michael (Marcella) Reese; daughter, Laura (Michael) Tischler; grandchildren, Marissa Tischler, Nathan Reese, Michael Tischler, and Madelyn Reese; sisters-in-law, Barbara Drahas and Phyllis (Will) Meibuhr; and many nieces and nephews.
Bernie was proceeded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Frank J. Reese; her parents; and her older siblings, Beverly Frederick (Andy) and Ronald Drahas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at 5:00 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, OH 44039.
