Bernice R Doubrava's Obituary
BERNICE R DOUBRAVA, age 93 of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026. She was born on November 26, 1932 in Cleveland, OH and spent the last 16 years in North Ridgeville after moving from Parma.
Bernice worked as a switchboard operator for the Bell Telephone Company prior to raising a family, then worked as a receptionist for Broadview Savings Bank. Bernice was an extraordinary seamstress, artistic in needlecraft and adept at tiling and working with wallpaper.
Bernice is survived by her children, Jerry Doubrava (Patty) and Kathy Grey-Piper (Bruce) and her grandchildren Jenny and Jason. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry and her parents Rudolph and Josephine Martin.
Bernice will be laid to rest along side her husband at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, in Seville, Ohio.
