Bernard F."Bernie" Zisko's Obituary
Bernard F. “Bernie” Zisko, age 81, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, following a brief illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 11 years. He previously lived in Strongsville, Brunswick and Parma.
Bernie worked as a commercial artist for Project Merchandise in Berea, retiring in 1998 after 35 years.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville and enjoyed Western, Comedy and Classic movies, coaching football, and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dolores (nee Baran) Zisko; children, Bernie Zisko of North Ridgeville, Patti (Larry) Mick of Atlanta, Georgia, Michael Zisko of Parma, Andrene (Randy) Gaddis of North Ridgeville, John (Terri) Zisko of Cincinnati, Andrew (Heather) Zisko of Maumee; grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Vaughn, Billy Mick, Christopher and Jeremy Gaddis, Nicole, Nathan, Allison, Jacob, Joshua, Jason, Nicholas and Luke Zisko; great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Dane Vaughn; sister, Linda Pesti of Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Dorothy (nee Kuhlenek) Zisko.
Friends may call Monday, from 4-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30AM followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
